I know that when many people hear “family photo session” their stress level rises a bit. What will I wear? How will I get my children to cooperate? Where would we even do a session? What do I do with all of those pictures afterward? My hope is to take some of that stress away and help walk you through this process! The planning is one of my favorite parts. It allows me to get to know you as a family and to ultimately help you design your dream shoot. This experience can be beautiful and painless. When you come to your session I want you to feel confident in the process and ready to just have a good time. I will share with you my favorite outdoor spaces in Huntsville for family photos. Or give you ideas on how to use your home for your favorite photos yet!
One of our first steps in this process is a pre-consultation. We will talk through all of the details, start to finish. This meeting will help me get to know you and get a vision for what I’m shooting at our session. My hope is that by the end of this you will have beautiful memories and fine art images to hang on your walls and place in albums.

STEP 5: The BIG Reveal
This is hands down my favorite part, and will certainly be yours too. This should be a time that anyone making decisions on which images you select should be present. I encourage you to get cozy and prepare for a super sweet time.Then, based on your questionnaire, I will walk you through selecting your images your options for displaying them. No more having dozens of digital images that have been sitting on your computer for years and years. Because images this beautiful shouldn’t be collecting digital dust. Instead you will walk away with your album or wall art already ordered and on their way to their new home!
COST: Collections/Products start at $700 + $300 retainer.
- How do I book a session?

Booking is easy! Simply contact us through our website, email, or phone to discuss availability and details. A session fee/retainer will be required to secure your date.
- What's the best time of year for family photos in Huntsville?

Huntsville is blessed enough to have all of the seasons! My personal favorites for outdoor sessions are Spring (nice weather, flowers blooming, less busy) and Fall (gorgeous colors, cooler temps, stunning sunsets). In-home sessions are perfect because you can do them year round!
- What should I wear for my photoshoot?

Wear outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Eareth tones and neutrals are timeless and look great on your walls. Adding in 1-2 simple patterns and texture is gold. And coordinating (but not matching) outfits work best! A styling consult is include din your session fee! Yay to mom not having to do all the leg work!
- How long does a photoshoot take?

Session lengths vary depending on the type of shoot. Family photoshoots take around an hour but as the expert I know exactly when we've gotten what we need and I'll guide you in that.
- When will I receive my photos?

Editing takes time to ensure the best quality. Most sessions are delivered within 2-3 weeks, while larger events like weddings may take up to 8 weeks. Rush processing may be available upon request.
- Do you offer prints or just digital images?

We offer both! You can choose high-resolution digital files, professional prints, albums, and wall art to showcase your memories beautifully.
- What happens if the weather is bad for an outdoor session?

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can reschedule for another day or move the session to an indoor location. We’ll stay in touch and make the best decision together.
