I have been photographing Huntsville and Madison Alabama  newborns for the past two years now. I've done sessions both in my lifestyle Huntsville studio and in various homes around the city. 

I must say that coming into your space for a newborn session is my absolute favorite thing to do!

Some of the fears surrounding newborn sessions in your home are:

• My home isn't big enough
• It's so messy
• I don't have fancy decor. 
• I'm not sure if my back drop is interesting enough. 

I'm here to tell you to put all of those fears aside. 

Your home is exactly perfect for photographing your newly, growing family. 

So let's address these concerns:

1. My home isn't big enough. 

False. Your home is the perfect size. For most of my married life we lived in a 1,000 square foot home and I have some amazing images that have come from it! It's about finding the little nooks of light and placing you in it. Where there's a window there's away. 

2. It's so messy.

Facts. So is mine. Always. But you don't need an entirely clean home. You only need a couple of clear corners. As your newborn photographer I'm not afraid to move things the side and to the corners to get the perfect shot. Focus on 1-2 spaces that have awesome light and clear those out a bit. 

3. I don't have any fancy decor. 

Not a problem. Your home is going to represent you. Everything doesn't have to look like it came from pinterest. The focus of these pictures is YOU and you new baby. We aren't looking at the decor. One thing I loved about this session was mamas amazing and simplistic color palette that enhanced the ability for the eye to be drawn to the subjects. It wasn't loud and overly decorated and provided the most beautiful backdrop!

This session pulled on all my heart strings! Mama kept the wardrobe earthy and simple allowing the focus to be on her cutie baby. She was calm and present and it shows in her gallery. Take a look below at just a smidge of my favorites.
