I'm based out of Huntsville, AL but make regular trips back to SC. I'm also always up for a great adventure and am willing to travel provided costs are covered. 

That's a definite yes! I know several amazing spots that play well with that magical lighting you see in my images. I can also help you decide if an in-home or studio session may be right for you as well. 

Absolutely! This is one of my favorite parts of our session! I love styling families and helping them look and feel fabulous for their session! During our consultation we will go through my client closet (we always start with mom) and then pull in other things as needed!

I have just recently started building my maternity closet and it is open for you to use! I also offer incentives if you decide to buy a gown and want to leave it in the maternity closet for another mama to use! Ask me about it during our consultation. 

I take bookings 4-6 months in advance, and especially begin to fill up for Fall. You can always reach out to inquire about last minute availability!

I do! I realize that quality photography is an investment. I want everyone to be able to have gorgeous images on their walls and acknowledge that sometimes that only happens with careful financial planning. Once we do our consult and you have an idea of what you would like I can set you up on a personalized payment plans and break your payments up over the course of the next several weeks/months. 

Typical turn around time is 2 weeks. During busy seasons it can take up to 3-4 weeks. I will post sneak peeks throughout my editing process, however so you will get a little taste of what's to come!

You may have noticed my sessions don't time limits attached. This is because as a professional I know exactly what I'm looking for and how long it takes me to get a full gallery. There are times that I know I've struck gold and have all the images I need in 20 minutes. Other times, when little ones (or maybe dad) need some warming up or extra snuggles it may be an hour. Trust that I will get a beautiful selection of images for you to choose from!

Newborn sessions last for a couple of hours to give you breaks and time for feedings and changings. 

Golden hour. All day every day. If we are shooting outside it is almost always going to be at golden hour. Those sun drenched images produce so much connection and emotion that you see and love in my pictures. Of course, we can shoot at other times if needed. In home and newborn sessions are usually mid morning. 

I typically make rain calls 2 hours before a session. Because we live in the South, cancelling any earlier than that often proves in vain. Of course if its raining we will reschedule for the next available date. 

Yes, yes yes! I was an elementary school teacher for 7 years and a reading interventionist for 3. I have 10 years of experience working with children of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Because my sessions are lifestyle and real, no need to worry if your child with autism can't sit still. Or doesn't want to look at the camera. We will create beautiful images that respect who they are as their natural selves. 

Galleries usually have between 25-45 images, depending. 

You don't have to, but I highly recommend it. You are investing hundreds of dollars in this experience and I want your image quality to match that investment. I guarantee all of my products for quality and they are hand crafted and professionally printed by various artisans. Digital files that you purchase will come with printing rights, up to size 8x10 if you choose to print on your own. 

Not typically. I have a couple of specialized events throughout the year, like a Motherhood event in April. Beyond that, not really. I find that 15 minutes simply isn't enough time to make real connections with you as your photographer or for you to make with your family. Since I'm not a posed-style photographer those connections are essential. I like you to feel relaxed and be able to enjoy the moments.
