So you've had your family photos taken...now what?
If you're like the majority of people, you get really excited when you see the gallery of images your photographer captured for you! The excitement of seeing all those little joyful and silly expressions that are completely characteristic of your people is everything!
Then, like most, you do the thing you know to do...your order your digital gallery with the thoughts that, soon, you will take the time to print and do something with them.
Unfortunately, like most, you get distracted and busy with all the chaos of life and those pictures just sit, collecting digital dust.
You've invested hundreds of dollars but may only see that investment once in a while when you open the folder that's buried somewhere on your hard drive.
As a professional photographer myself, I am all too guilty of this. I literally have thousands of images of my kiddos (sorry hubby, I really do like you too) sitting on my computer. I've made it a goal of mine this year to do something with those images. I love the feeling when I walk into a home and see gorgeous images displayed on the wall. Whether they are cell phone pics, old pics of grandparents, or professionally done images, seeing them displayed adds instant warmth and cozy to a home. I love hearing the stories behind these images and just taking the time to see the emotion in each one.
I encourage you-think beyond the digital. When you schedule your next session, take the time to plan out what you'd like to do with these pictures. Let me help you plan the perfect gallery wall or design an amazing heirloom album like the one below. Here are just a few samples of the products in my studio currently: matted prints, standouts and heirloom albums. Which do you see yourself displaying in your home?

Tiffany Crenshaw - I totally know the feeling! This is part of why I walk my clients through and show them samples so they can know what it is they want to walk away with.

Angela - I love you took time to write this! I feel like I have company in the digital dust. Ha! I don't always want canvases or to put all the photos on the wall. So I oftentimes find myself needing the help of getting them in a book. I especially like to get books for my parents made. Pictures are priceless continuous memories and become part of your family's library.

RJ - I prefer matted prints for displaying throughout the house!! I also prefer heirloom albums so we could give as gifts or have as keepsakes. I’m a sentimentalist (is that a word??)!
