Happy Monday, ya'll!
Spring is here and I for one and so thrilled that the warmer weather is coming!
Being quarantined is way better when you can be outside and enjoy nature.
Since we moved in March, my beloved camera has only seen the sweet faces of my children (well, and our new puppy of course).
And as cute as they may be and as much as I've loved documenting our days, I felt like it was time to switch things up a bit.
I decided to embark on some self portraits.
Moment of vulnerability here.
I hate the being in front of the camera.
I pick apart every detail of myself that I hate.
But I decided to practice what I preach.
I think doing this shoot was the first time I put on real clothes in weeks.
It helped me to feel like a normal human again.
Tip of the day: Dress up even if you have no where to go.
Do your hair, do your makeup, put on real pants. It will lift your spirits and help your mood!
Have you thought about what you'd like to document first after this quarantine? Graduation photos? Lifestyle newborn session? Family documentary story?
With May quickly approaching, I'm ready to start meeting some new Huntsville clients, that will hopefully become lifelong friends. I want to help you capture all of those moments that you will treasure for years to come. While I may be new to Alabama, I'm not new to documenting beautiful stories. I love creating work that pulls together all the emotions and feelings that are so unique to each family. I have great feelings about the coming months and the sessions they will include.
So what are you waiting for? Drop me a line and let's start planning something amazing!
