You may remember this sweet mama and son duo from the Fall.

But there was one more, amazing piece to this puzzle that I can now share. T and B are amazing as a couple and amazing as parents to this little boy. They are #blendedfamily and are now preparing for their beautiful wedding. When this sweet mama reached out to me it wasn't just to update her Fall photos-although there is nothing wrong with that!

She had a specific, tender and very real story she wanted told. Things in the bond between her and her son that she wanted captured. 

And to truly do her story justice takes more than just showing up with a camera on any given day.

It took conversations between she and I.

Questionnaires and reflective questions for her to answer in order to help me best paint the scene and plan out all of the little details that go into the making of a beautiful documentary. 

It took curating styling that supported and enhanced their narrative, rather than pull away from it. 

It takes trust in the process, trust in me as the professional and time. 

And this is why you hire a professional photographer.
