Lowe Mill Urban Maternity Shoot: Casillas Family
This session was originally supposed to take place in one of Huntsville's beautiful, grassy fields at the oh-so-popular Golden Hour.
And then we were hit with a winter storm that forced us inside the walls brick exposed walls of Lowe Mill.
And we couldn't have planned a more perfect detour if we had tried.
As soon As Oscar and Connie and their awesome teenagers showed up at this historic, arts facility I had one of those DUH moments!
Why hadn't I seen it before?
They were literally made for this place.
Sometimes as artists we get so bound to what's familiar and what's comfortable that we forget to peel ourselves away from that place.
To step into the unknown areas or our art and take a look around.
I'm so glad things worked out the way that they did and that we were able to create something truly unique, emotive and beautiful.
