Part of being an artist is learning to adapt to new mediums and situations.
Learning to work in uncharted territory.
That was this session for me.
I reached out to Bianca a few weeks ago when she had her newest little babe. Bianca was one of the first people I connected with when we relocated to Huntsville early Spring. Her beautiful family was the epitome of perfection for this vision I had.
You see, my birth and newborn photography business has changed greatly due to Covid-19. And while it is immensely discouraging that I can't physically love all over these babies, I still want to bring joyful images to their moms and dads. This is a small window of time that new parents can't get back. We all know how quickly the baby stage passes and how precious those first few weeks are.
And so the window and front porch session was born. This was a completely no contact session. I love that we were able to have so much fun with this! The Hughes family were some of the most gentle and humble souls I've had the pleasure of meeting. I can't quite put into words what it was-other than just the love and character of Christ radiating through them. Their three children are so blessed to have parents that love people and will set such a beautiful example for them in this less than beautiful world we live in.
If you are expecting a little one in the coming months, but are concerned about sickness, don't be disheartened. Let's chat and plan a beautiful newborn session that you leaves you feeling comfortable and safe!

Andrea Krey - I am so glad you’ve found this adorable family in Huntsville. I bet they loved this approach of a newborn session - staying safe in their sweet home.
